About

My name is Nikki. I was born and raised just north of Dallas, Texas and currently live in a small town 80-miles west of Albany, New York with my tiny dog and needy cats. I ended up here after my second tour of duty in Los Angeles and having decided it was time for a complete change of scenery and more low key life. Not to mention a cheaper cost of living.

Living here not only gives me access to a plethora of new places to explore by train or car, but also being on the east cost makes it so much quicker (and often less expensive) to fly to Europe. Don’t be surprised if you read this one day and find out I’m actually living in Scotland. Or Italy.

Other than my obsessive compulsive planning abilities, I am known for my many obsessions: books (most of which are completely unmentionable), whisky, Taylor Swift, the Dallas Stars, my love/hate relationship with the Dallas Cowboys, and the newest love of my life, tennis, and my favorite player – who I’d go to war for – Karen Khachanov. Turns out the world of tennis opens up a whole new world of travel adventures, and I’ve also started to play. Let’s not get confused and think I am any good. I am fully convinced learning a backhand is never going to get easier.

I decided to start this business for many reasons, but the biggest is I believe travel doesn’t have to be hard to plan and for sure doesn’t need to cost a fortune. Exposure to new cultures, tasting new foods, and swimming in new waters (literally) are available to everyone, not just the obscenely wealthy.

A lot of – but not all – content here will focus on tennis; having attended the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells and the U.S. Open I’ve discovered navigating these tournaments can be overwhelming. I’ve made so many great online friends who travel to tournaments and found so many related resources and content, I want to put it all in once place.

So grab your passport and let’s f**king go.

I’m Nikki.

Welcome to the world, it’s been waiting for you.
